The Saint Benedict Forum offers a variety of retreat opportunities throughout the school year. They are designed for Hope College students and parishioners of the local parish to come together in order to enter more deeply into our Christian faith. Some are designed for the busy person who may not be able to give a full weekend to a retreat, but who still wants to grow spiritually. Others are designed to allow students to get away from campus for a period of spiritual reflection or discernment. Retreats usually consist of spiritual talks, silence, communal prayer, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, and Mass. Renowned spiritual directors and speakers are brought in to lead these retreats.
Past retreat leaders include Fr. Ezra Sullivan, OP, Fr. Damian Ference, Sr. Joseph Andrew Bogdanowicz, OP, as well as Saint Benedict Forum co-founders, Dr. Jared Ortiz and Dr. Jack Mulder. Friends of the Saint Benedict Forum and popular speakers, Fr. David Meconi, SJ, and Sr. Miriam James Heidland, SOLT, are scheduled to come in the 2015-16 school year.
All are welcome. Please join our mailing list to get information about these and other upcoming events.
